Ohmmeter

It may sound like something only a tech-geek could love, these simple devices read resistance in electrical circuits, which can basically tell you if many parts and sensors are functioning properly or not. Handier than an iPhone, and easier to use than a BlackBerry, a good rule of thumb is if your vehicle is out of warranty, an ohmeter belongs in your garage.
