Throttle Sensor

Also called the 'Throttle Position Sensor' (or 'TPS' for short). This device indirectly determines how far the gas pedal has been depressed. If you think yours might be bad, try testing it with an ohmeter, or replacing it with a known good TPS before you spend the dough.
